President commends Lagos governor’s leadership and lauds Chief of Staff’s dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his 61st birthday and his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, on attaining the age of 64.
In a statement issued by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, the President praised Governor Sanwo-Olu for his diligence, leadership and commitment to the development of Lagos State.

Tinubu noted that the governor has effectively combined his private and public sector experience to drive economic, infrastructural and cultural transformation in Lagos, further strengthening the state’s position as a leading commercial and investment hub.
The President also commended Sanwo-Olu’s loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his commitment to inclusive governance, describing his contributions to Lagos and Nigeria as remarkable.
Similarly, Tinubu hailed Gbajabiamila’s dedication, loyalty and years of service to the nation, noting that his role in coordinating government activities has been instrumental to the implementation of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The President highlighted Gbajabiamila’s political journey, from serving as Minority Leader and Speaker of the House of Representatives to his current position as Chief of Staff, describing him as a committed public servant who has contributed significantly to Nigeria’s democratic growth.
Tinubu prayed for both leaders, asking God to grant them good health, wisdom, strength and many more years of impactful service to the nation.
