… sparks fresh social media debate.
Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication to Nyesom Wike, has criticised Peter Obi over his past comments on marital infidelity.

Olayinka made the remarks in a social media post on Thursday while reacting to a viral clip from Obi’s 2024 appearance on The Honest Bunch.
During the interview, Obi stated that he would neither divorce nor become angry with his wife if she cheated, stressing that the shame would rest on the cheating partner rather than him.
According to Obi, his commitment to marriage would remain intact regardless of such circumstances.
The former presidential candidate had said that people would judge the cheating spouse and not him, adding that individuals should not be defined by the actions of their partners or children.
Reacting to the resurfaced interview, Olayinka mocked Obi in a strongly worded post, questioning his role as a husband and father.
The comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with supporters and critics of the former Labour Party presidential candidate debating the issue across social media platforms.
