Attorney General Lateef Fagbemi leads prosecution as special four-day proceedings commence at the Federal High Court.
The Federal Government on Monday commenced the mass trial of suspected terrorists facing terrorism-related charges at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The proceedings, which are traditionally held in Kainji, Niger State, were moved to the Abuja Division of the court and are expected to last four days.

Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, is leading the prosecution team, while the Director-General of the Legal Aid Council, Aliyu Abubakar, heads the defence.
The trial is being conducted simultaneously across multiple courtrooms, with judges including Justices Binta Nyako, Emeka Nwite, Musa Liman, James Omotosho, Obiora Egwuatu, and Ekerete Akpan presiding over various cases.
At least 58 suspected terrorists were listed for trial before Justice Emeka Nwite on the opening day of the proceedings.
