Governors and deputy governors from across Nigeria attend National Economic Council meeting at the Presidential Villa.

Vice President Kashim Shettima is presiding over the meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.

The meeting has drawn governors and deputy governors from across the country to deliberate on key economic and developmental issues affecting the nation.

Among those in attendance are the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, alongside Governors Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Abba Kabir Yusuf (Kano), Bassey Otu (Cross River), Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), and Ademola Adeleke of Osun State.

Adeleke’s presence is attracting attention, as the Osun governor is making a rare appearance at the council meeting.
