The Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Mrs Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, has threatened a protest over the outcome of the recently concluded All Progressives Congress primaries in Lagos State, alleging that the exercise was manipulated in favour of the party’s Justice Forum bloc.
Speaking during a meeting with market leaders and stakeholders at her office in Alausa, Ikeja, on Wednesday, Tinubu-Ojo claimed that the results announced for Mushin Federal Constituency 2, Agege Constituency 2 and Ojokoro constituencies did not reflect the actual outcome of the primaries.

The Lagos APC had earlier released the names of candidates who emerged from the House of Representatives and Lagos State House of Assembly primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Tinubu-Ojo called on party leaders at both state and national levels to investigate the disputed results before their final ratification, warning that unresolved grievances could deepen internal divisions within the ruling party.
She insisted that candidates such as Seye Oladejo in Mushin Federal Constituency 2, Mutiu Olaide Oladeebo in Agege Constituency 2, and Olotu Ojo in Ojokoro won their respective contests and should not be denied their mandates.
According to her, internal party structures are being influenced by factional interests between the Justice Forum and Mandate Group, a situation she said could threaten party unity ahead of the 2027 elections.
Tinubu-Ojo also expressed concern over members allegedly abandoning the Mandate Group for the Justice Forum because of the perceived governorship ambition of Obafemi Hamzat.
She maintained that all APC members should be treated fairly regardless of political affiliation within the party, adding that hard work and loyalty must be rewarded in politics.
The market leader further reaffirmed the support of market women across Lagos for Hamzat’s governorship ambition and other APC candidates, while calling for greater political inclusion and recognition for traders in the state.
