Olayinka claims some protesters arrived by air, alleges suspicious items were seen during demonstration against Oyo abductions.

Media aide to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, Lere Olayinka, has reacted to the recent protest in Ibadan led by activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), over the abduction of pupils and teachers in Oyo State.

In a post shared on X, Olayinka questioned the circumstances surrounding the protest, alleging that some participants reportedly arrived in Ibadan by air and were received at the airport by school children.

He also claimed that some protesters were allegedly seen carrying objects he described as dangerous items, including daggers, cutlasses and knives, during the demonstration.

Olayinka further commented on Governor Seyi Makinde’s interaction with the protesters, suggesting that the development had raised questions about the possible backing behind the protest.

“If you still don’t know who sponsored it, na you kuku know,” he wrote.
