Gesture aims to improve journalists’ mobility and strengthen coverage of presidential activities
Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has donated a brand-new coaster bus to the State House Press Corps to support journalists covering activities at the Presidential Villa.
The vehicle was presented on her behalf by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, who joined the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, and other presidential media officials for a test ride around the State House.
Chairman of the State House Press Corps, Emmanuel Anule, commended the gesture, describing the bus as a significant boost to the mobility and operational efficiency of journalists assigned to cover presidential activities.
The donation is expected to ease transportation challenges faced by reporters while ensuring improved coverage and timely dissemination of information from Nigeria’s seat of power.
